Putting the Antenna into Operation

Risk of fatal injury due to high voltage
When setting up, operating, or dismanteling the antenna, stay away from
high voltage cables and beware of thunderstorms.
High voltages may be transmitted to the antenna and cause fatal injuries to
persons nearby.
Also read and observe the "Basic Safety Instructions" delivered as a printed
brochure with the instrument.
Connecting the antenna to the R&S EVS300
1. Connect the antenna cable to the BNC connector at the bottom of the antenna
head.
2. Fix the antenna cable to the antenna head using the supplied velcro strip.
3. Connect the antenna cable to the R&S EVS300.
