• Should you use the Kangoo in a stand, connect the suspension ring and the swing limiter as described in the corresponding
assembly instructions.
• The fastening points must not have sharp edges.
• The fastening points and locations of the stands must be selected so that no sharp or pointed edges are neither below the

• The surface on which the hammock frame stands must be firm and flat. Specifically, never place the frame on sloping
surfaces, nor on sofas, (water)beds or soft cushions.
• Do not use the hammock near flames and other powerful sources of heat such as electric radiators, gas heaters, camping
cookers, open fireplaces, etc.!
• The lying or sitting height should not be above 400 mm! Please also read the Chapter "Safety notes".
• The attachment of the baby hammock to the fastening components must only be carried out by an adult person.
A. Fastening to door frames:
• The space between the edge of the door frame and the wall must be at least 2 cm (1 inch) thick, which means that at least
2 cm (1 inch) of the door edge must be free for the clamp.
• Secure the doors so that they do not slam shut!
• Make sure that the clamp holds firmly before you place your child in the AMAZONAS hammock!
• Please place the suspension cords of the hammock directly in the door clamp (without additional use of the carabiner
hook), to ensure that metal does not rub against metal.
B. Alternative fastening (stand, wall and ceiling hook):
• The hooks must be placed in the load-bearing material, not just in the plaster.
• The Jumbino ceiling hook is suitable only for use in solid brickwork or concrete ceilings. With other ceiling structures, the
correct fixing device must be selected by a professional fitter.
i
Utilisation/Use of the article:
• Familiarise yourself with the Kangoo, in particular with the placing of your baby in the hammock, perhaps with the help of a doll.
• Never place your baby/child with too much momentum off-centre in the Kangoo. Always place it carefully and without
momentum in the centre of the hammock.
• In order to place your baby safely in the Kangoo press your baby firmly with one arm either to your side or to your hip.
With the other arm you hold the hammock steady. Place the baby in the hammock when you are sure that the baby's head
is as close as possible to the top end of the mattress.
• The Kangoo in NOT A SWING although it is intended for the relaxation of your baby by soft swinging. Do not rock the
baby hammock strongly by no means!
• Always use the sewed-in safety pants to secure your child!
• Please close ALL metal and wooden buttons once you have placed your child into the hammock.
• If you would like to put a mattress in the Kangoo, it is essential to use the sewn-in pocket. We recommend the use of our
custom-fit baby mattress Sunny. Should you additionally use a blanket to cover your baby, make sure that it cannot slip under
it and that it can breathe freely.
• This hammock is not a substitute for a cot, crib or bed. If your child is tired and wants to sleep, it must be put in a
suitable cot, crib or bed.
i
Maintenance, repair and lifetime:
• The articles are NOT suitable for outdoor use.
• Avoid the effects of moisture on your articles! Should the textiles become moist, you should hang them up and dry them
immediately. NEVER store the textiles in a wet, folded condition! The fabric could get mould stains. This would weaken the
stability of the textile structure.
