DANGER:
Danger of fire!
• Never leave the appliance unattended while
switched on. There is a risk of fire.
• Make sure that the air inlet and outlet openings are always
unobstructed.
• The appliance gets hot during use. Do not put the hairdryer
near any readily flammable materials.
• Never cover the appliance or place it on soft objects (such
as towels), as heat can build up inside.
• This appliance is fitted with an automatic overheating pro-
tection system which in the event of overheating switches
the heater off. The fan continues to run. After a short cool-
ing-off period, the heater switches on again. Make sure that
the air inlet and outlet openings are completely free.
General safety information
DANGER:
• Never use the appliance if:
– the appliance, mains plug or cord are damaged.
– the appliance has fallen or been dropped, shows signs of
damage or is not functioning properly.
– the appliance is so badly damaged that electrical parts
are exposed.
– liquids or foreign bodies have penetrated inside the
appliance.
In all such cases, disconnect from the mains immediately
and inform Technical Customer Service.

• Check whether the mains voltage corresponds to the volt-
age specified on the rating plate.
• This appliance is not intended for use by per-
sons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experi-
ence and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
• Keep the packaging material, e.g. plastic film, also away
from children.
• Protect the cord from damage. Never pull on it. When pull-
ing the mains plug out of the power socket, always grasp
the plug itself. Keep the cord away from hot surfaces. Check
the cord regularly for damage. The insulation may not be
damaged or crushed.
• To avoid risks, repairs must be carried out by the author-
ised Wella Customer Service only.
• Should the cord to the appliance be damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or the manufacturer's cus-
tomer service or similarly qualified persons in order to
avoid risks.
