LEFT-HANDED MODE
If you play guitar left-handed, follow these steps to set up ALL-STAR GUITAR:
1. Follow Steps #1-6 in the SET UP ALL-STAR GUITAR section on the previous page.
2. Unscrew the strap button next to the speaker and screw it into the opposite "horn" of the
guitar body, and then flip the guitar upside-down (see illustration below).
3. Flip the power switch on (next to the battery compartment). You'll see the lights on the
fretboard light up.
4a. If you are using the All-Star Guitar app: Open the app. Open its Settings (the wrench
icon) and set Lefty Mode to ON. Start jamming!
4b. If you are using a different app: Turn ALL-STAR GUITAR's power off then on again.
While the fret buttons' lights are flashing in their startup pattern, press the two outermost
fret buttons closest to the guitar body (see illustration below). This puts the guitar in Left-
Handed Mode. Open the app, and start jamming! (Make sure your iPad or iPhone isn't in
Silent Mode.)

To switch the guitar back to Right-Handed Mode:
If you are using the All-Star Guitar app: Open its Settings (the wrench icon) and set
Normal Mode to OFF.
If you are using a different app: Turn the guitar's power off then on again.
Note: Remember to turn ALL-STAR GUITAR's power off after using it.
IMPORTANT: Always turn on ALL-STAR GUITAR's power before opening the app. If the app
doesn't respond when you play ALL-STAR GUITAR, close the app completely (so it is not running
in the background, i.e., Multitasking) and reopen it.
To close an app running in the background:
1. Press your device's Home button to exit the app.
2. Double-click the Home button.
3. In the bar at the bottom of the screen, touch and hold the All-Star Guitar app's icon until the
red "minus" symbol appears in its corner.
4. Tap the red "minus" symbol so the icon disappears.
5. Press the Home button. You can now reopen the app after powering on ALL-STAR GUITAR.
