• Do not use outdoors.
• Unplug from the mains when not in use.
• This appliance has been designed for domestic use only.
• If the cable were to deteriorate it must be changed by an Authorised
Service Centre.

INSTRUCTIONS OF USE

• Pour cold water into the tank (5). Please remember that you only must fill the tank with water.
Make sure the water not exceed the maximum "MAX" level indicated in the water tank
and always over the "MIN" minimum level indication. Both indications are showed
inside the water tank.
• It is advisable to fill the water tank until the indication MAX. This is enough to cook for 1 hour.
If for any case the water tank is empty, first switch off the appliance from the mains and refill the
water tank removing the bowls.
• Place over the tank one or both baskets. If you are going to use both baskets, the basket with the
indication 1 must be placed first over the tank and then you can place the basket with number
2. The indications 1 and 2 are in the lateral of each basket. If you are going to use only one basket
you must use the basket with the number 1.
Attention: The bowl for the rice (3) it must not be placed directly over the tank. This
bowl must be placed always inside the baskets.
• Insert the food and place the lid (1).
• If you are going to use both bowls, place the food with the longest cooking time in the lower
steaming bowl.
• Plug the appliance to the mains and turn clockwise the timer knob (7) to choose the desired
functioning time (maximum 60 minutes). When you do so the indicator (8) will light on and the
steam will begin to flow in a few minutes.
• When the programmed time runs out the appliance will go off automatically. When this happens
the indicator light (8) will be off.
• If you wish to stop before the time runs out, disconnect it from the mains.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• Before cleaning the appliance ensure it is unplugged from the mains and wait for the heating
element and the tank to be cold.
• When using and depending on the hard water areas some calc residues can accumulate in the
tank and in the heating element. To remove those residues follow the next steps:
-Fill the tank until the maximum indication MAX with vinegar and water solution.
-Do not place any accessory.
-Plug the appliance to the mains and set the timer up to 20 minutes.
-When the timer ring rinse the tank twice with water.
• Clean the accessories with soap and water and then rinse carefully afterwards.
• Use a dampened cloth to clean the main body.
• Do not use abrasive or chemical products, metallic scourers, which may deteriorate the surfaces
of the appliance.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

• Dispose the appliance according to the local garbage regulations.
• Never throw it away to the rubbish. So you will help to the improvement of the
environment.
