Attention!
• If the power outlet used to operate the
Airfresh Hygro 500 is not properly con
nected, the power plug of the device will
get hot. Ensure that you are using a prop
erly connected power outlet for the Air
fresh Hygro 500.
• Do not place any objects on top of the
Airfresh Hygro 500 and do not sit on it.
• Use only the original filter by Soehnle,
which is specifically suited for this Airfresh
Hygro 500.
• Do not use the Airfresh Hygro 500 after
using incense for insect protection or in
places with oil residue or chemical va
pours or where incense sticks are burnt.
• Do not use the Airfresh Hygro 500 near
heaters, fireplaces, or gaspowered devic
es.
• Do not add water through the air outlets
on the top side of Airfresh Hygro 500.
• Bacteria and mould can form on the filter
if the Airfresh Hygro 500 is not used for a
longer time. Inspect the filter before using
Airfresh Hygro 500 again. The filter should
be changed if it has stains.
• Clean the water container and filter every
week to ensure optimum hygiene.
• Fill the water tank only with water.
• Do not stand on the device.

4. Proper use
The Airfresh Hygro 500 is intended exclu
sively humidifying room air.
5. Prior to first use
1. Place the device upright on a solid, level,
and moistureresistant surface. Keep the
device away from walls.
2. To ensure optimum performance of the
device, please ensure that the air inlets
and air outlets are not covered.
3. Inspect the power cord to ensure that it is
not damaged.
4. Remove the water tank (1.1) and lift the
upper housing (1.2) from the bottom
housing.
5. Remove the packaging from the filter and
insert the filter into the bottom housing.

6. Place the upper housing back on the
lower housing.
7. Place the water tank, with the screw cap
facing up, on a level surface. Open the
screw cap on the bottom of the tank. Fill
the water tank with fresh water. Then use
the screw cap to close the water tank.
Ensure that the water tank is tightly
closed.
