Information about low battery is transmitted to the DRS-995 door
chime and is signalled by lighting the AMBILED diode in red (while the
melody is playing).
VI. INSTALLATION OF THE BUTTON / BATTERY REPLACEMENT
1. Remove the front part of the button, slightly tilting it with a screwdriver.
2. Remove the electronics board.
3. Without disassembling the silicone seal, screw the base of the button
with screws or glue it with double-sided tape to the ground in the selected
place. Use screws that are not larger than 2.5 mm in diameter to avoid
damaging the seal.
4. Install the batteries paying particular attention to the correct polarity.
5. Move your finger to the touch field and check if the button works correctly
(green LED in the button should light up).
6. Place the electronics on the button base.
7. Replace the front part of the button – pay attention to the correct position
of the screwdriver cutout. Carefully press the front to the base.
VII. DRS-995 DOOR CHIME USER MANUAL
a) Button programming
1. Use the "MELODY" button on the door chime to set the melody to be
assigned to the button (you do not have to select the melody for the first
button).
2. Press and hold (for about 2 s) "MELODY" button until green LED in the
door chime starts flashing with a frequency of 0.5 s.
3. Press the button to be added to the door chime – green LED in the
door chime will turn on and off, which means that the button has been
correctly programmed.
In order to exit the programming mode earlier (without entering the button),
press the VOLUME or MELODY button briefly – LED in the door chime will
be off.
A maximum of 69 buttons can be programmed for one door chime.
