IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances especially when children are present,
basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:
1 · READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2 · Do not touch hot surfaces. Metal parts can become hot. Use any handles or
knobs. All chrome surfaces become extremely hot.
3 · To protect against electrical shock, do not place cord, plug or appliance in
water or other liquid.
4 · Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5 · Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is plugged in.
6 · Oversize foods, metal foil packages, or utensils must not be inserted into a
toaster as they may involve a risk of fire or electrical shock.
7 · A fire may occur if toasters are covered or touching flammable material
including curtains, draperies, walls and the like, when in operation.
8 · Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool
before
cleaning, putting on or removing parts.
9 · Do not pull, twist or otherwise abuse cord.
10 · Clean out accumulated crumbs frequently to avoid risk of fire or toaster
malfunction. Unplug while not in use and before cleaning.
11 · Do not operate any electrical appliance with a damaged cord or plug
or after appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any
manner. Return appliance to nearest authorized service facility for examination,
repair or adjustment.
