in the course of the saw operation. The blade shield
does not protect the user from contact with the
blade below the workpiece.
q)
Never hold the workpiece by hand or between your
legs. It must be fastened on a stable surface. When
working with the device, it is necessary to perform
the work properly in order to minimize the chance of
causing bodily injury, blocking the cutting blade or
losing control over the device.
r)
The result of improper use of the device, i.e.: causing
the disc to jam in the gap, wrong adjustment of the
disc, wrong setting of the disc in the gap (getting the
cutting teeth stuck in the workpiece) it is the recoil of
the device from the workpiece towards the user.
s)
It is forbidden to use the device, if the lower shield or
shield springs are damaged or defective.
t)
Never stand in line with the saw, because if
a kickback occurs, the saw will hit the user. It is
necessary to stand aside.
u)
The specified vibrations emission was measured
using standard measurement methods. Vibrations
emissions may change if the device is used in
different surroundings.
3 Use guidelines
The circular saw is a device designed for cutting wood and
wood-like elements.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from
nonintended use of the device.

3.2 Preparing for use / Device use
Turning on the device
The device is switched on by pressing the lock button
(3) and holding it down, it is necessary to press the
switch (2).Release the lock button (3) and hold the
button (2). Release of the button (2) will cause the
machine to stop.
Adjusting the cutting depth
Always verify whether the saw is disconnected from
power supply and the moving parts have stopped
completely.
Loosen the cutting depth adjustment lock (5) by
unscrewing it counter-clockwise.
Set the cutting depth by moving the saw along the
slider with a measure.
Lock the setting by tightening the lock (5).
NOTE: Adjust the cutting depth to the thickness of the
workpiece.
Less than the whole blade tooth should be visible
below the workpiece.
Adjusting the cutting angle
Always verify whether the saw is disconnected from
power supply and the moving parts have stopped
completely.
Loosen the cutting angle adjustment locks (6) and
(11).
Set the preferred inclination angle of the perpendicular
guide.
Lock the setting by tightening the locks (6) and (11)
Replacing the cutting disc
Always verify whether the saw is disconnected from
power supply and the moving parts have stopped
completely.
Set the cutting depth to the smallest value.
Insert the ends of the locking wrench (20) into the
holes in the collar (16). Put the hexagonal wrench (21)
onto the nut (15). Unscrew the nut by holding the
flange.
Rev. 11.06.2018
Remove the nut, flange and the worn saw blade.
Mount the new saw blade, then the removed elements
in reverse order to their disassembly.
NOTE: Double check whether the saw blade is
correctly mounted, there is no play and that it does
not rub on other saw elements by gently spinning
it with your hand. Make sure that the saw rotation
direction is in accordance with the rotation direction
shown on the saw blade.
Using a parallel limiter
Loosen the fastening screw (10). Slide the limiter to
the preferred length. Lock by tightening the screw.
Manual opening of the bottom shield
The user in special cases (e.g. cutting out, etc.) has the option
of manually lifting the lower shield. In order to do this, grasp
the lever (18) with hand and move it. Bring closer to the
workpiece and then release the shield.
Laser
The device has a built-in laser that aids to perform a straight
cut. The laser must be turned on using the switch.
Replacement of carbon brushes
Unscrew the screws marked in the above figure. Remove
the shield and disassemble the used carbon brushes.
Install new brushes, then put on the shield and screw it to
the housing of the device.
Usage tips
It is always recommended to make a test cut on
a piece of cut material.
It is recommended to connect the suction pipe to
the hole (13) in order to remove the dust produced
when cutting.
For longitudinal cuts, it is recommended to use
a longitudinal or straight guide in order to improve
the cutting accuracy and reduce the chance of
blocking the cutting disc.
In order to avoid the recoil phenomenon it is
necessary to adhere to the following rules:
set a stable position and hold the saw with both
»
hands, positioning the arms in a position that allows
you to eliminate the rebound of the saw;
in case the cutting disc locks in the workpiece, it is
»
necessary to immediately turn the saw off and to wait
for the disc to stop, then start pulling the disc out of
the element. Never pull out the rotating disc! ;
after restarting, verify in the gap in the workpiece
»
whether the disc teeth have cut into the material;
use only functioning and sharp cutting discs;
»
always make sure that the disc adjustment elements
»
are properly tightened;
Rev. 11.06.2018
take particular care when cutting the material on an
»
unfamiliar substrate such as a wall.
There is a possibility of encountering a hard object
with the blade and causing the disc to get stuck or
the saw to recoil.
Larger elements should be supported so that they
will lie stably and will not bend under their own
weight.
If possible, connect dust extraction to the other end
of the suction hose.
Before sawing, inspect the workpiece for loose knots,
nails and metal elements. If discovered, remove
before commencing cutting.
Move the circular saw slowly and steadily in the
direction of the saw blade rotation.
Never block the shield in the open position, during
accidental fall of the saw it can be damaged.
The lower shield opens automatically after start
of cutting under influence of the pressure of the
workpiece.
The lower shield can be opened manually only in the
case of combined cutting or cutting out.
After applying the cutting disc to the workpiece
release freely the shield.
When putting aside the disc, always make sure
that the lower shield is closed and that the disc has
stopped turning.
The rotating disc causes the saw to move, and thus it
enables the saw to fall down and destroy everything
along the way.
Before each use, verify the following points, if the
device does not meet one of them it is forbidden to
use the device until the problem is eliminated
whether the lower shield is properly closed and
»
moves freely and does not touch any part of the disc
or the whole device;
that the shield springs function in the correct way,
»
Use appropriate cutting discs so that the thickness of
the disc does not exceed the thickness of the wedge.
Always verify whether the wedge is correctly
positioned and not damaged.
The riving wedge must be removed if the saw is used
for cutting out, because in this case it may be the
reason for occurrence of the recoil phenomenon.
If the wedge has been bent, the saw operation must
be stopped.
The distance between the disc blade and the wedge
should be no more than 5mm.
Always make sure that the saw blade and the
splitting wedge are in the same plane and that the
wedge edge is at the right distance away from the
saw blade teeth.
4. Cleaning and maintenance
Always unplug the device before cleaning it.
After use clean dust, chips and shavings from the
device.
Only carry the device while holding the handle. Do
not grab the shields, blades, guides, etc.
Use cleaners without corrosive substances to clean
each surface.
Clean the vents with a paintbrush and compressed
air.
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
Do not leave the battery in the device, if it will not be
used for a longer amount of time.
