INTRODUCTION
Thank you for trusting in Mondial. It is the perfect accessory for food lovers. To ensure
proper operation and maintenance of the product, carefully read the instructions in this
manual and keep it in the event that you may need in the future. We recommend that you
also keep the packaging in case of repairs, and dispose of all plastic bags that could
become dangerous toys for children.
The appliance is very easy to use. Just connect it to the electricity supply socket (220-250V).

Advice:
The use of Mondial appliances by children needs clear instructions of use and
constant supervision during use of the appliance.
OPERATION
The instrument consists of the following parts, see fig.A:
Before using the appliance:
1.
Make sure there is enough space before assembling the appliance.
2.
Open the box and remove the appliance.
3.
After unpacking the unit keep the packaging materials out of the reach of children
to avoid accidents.
4.
Place the unit on a flat, smooth surface to facilitate assembly and performance of
the equipment.
5.
Always place your appliance on a firm, clean and dry surface.
6.
Make sure that there is no residue from the packing material in the openings and
cavities in the appliance and in the accessories.
7.
Unwind the Plug Cable.
8.
Make sure the appliance's voltage is compatible with the local mains before
connecting the plug into the socket.
9.
Wipe the appliance's surface dry. If necessary, wipe with a damp cloth and dry well
with paper towel or dry cloth.
10.
Clean the heating plates with a damp cloth and then dry them with a paper towel or
dry cloth.
11.
Smear a small amount of butter or oil on the plates; smear it on the entire surface
with a silicone brush.
12.
Close the lid and insert the plug in the outlet. The red light, indicating that the unit is
connected to the mains, will light up. After a few minutes the green light will turn on.
13.
Remove the plug from the socket and wait for the appliance to cool down. Clean
the inside of the unit again with paper towels.
14.
This will ensure durability to the non-stick coating.

Warning: The warranty does not cover wear on the non-stick coating caused by
misuse, as well as breakages or damages caused from fall, transport or
inappropriate handling.
Use (See fig.A)
1.
Connect the to the socket (compatible with the product's voltage).
2.
Adjust the temperature selector to the desired level (read the item
TEMPERATURE SELECTOR for more information).
3.
As soon as the power is on, the red light indicating the operation comes on. After a
few minutes the green light will illuminate indicating that the unit is ready for use.
4.
Open the lid of the appliance.
5.
Although the hot plates are made of non-stick material, it is convenient to use a
small amount of butter or oil in the cavities.
Spread well across the surface with a silicone brush.
6.
Pour the waffle batter on the plate, covering the entire surface.
IMPORTANT: Be careful not to pour the batter outside the plates during preparation.
This mix can enter inside the appliance and cause damages.
7.
Wait for about 30 seconds before closing the lid.
8.
Carefully close the lid.
9.
Cook according to the recommendations of the recipe or until it is golden.
10.
After use, remove the plug from the socket.
11.
Use the handle to open the lid and remove the waffles using silicone or wooden
utensils resistant to high temperatures. Never use metal knives or materials, as
they may damage the nonstick coating.
12.
It is recommended to use thermal gloves when handling your waffle maker.
Important: The green light will turn on and off when the appliance is being used.
This cycle indicates that the thermostat is maintaining the correct temperature.
TEMPERATURE SELECTOR
1.
This appliance has a temperature selector. It can be adjusted for each type of
recipe.
2.
Select higher temperatures to obtain more a golden waffle and with less
preparation time.
