The packing machine has been designed for operation by a single worker.
Basic technical and mechanical skills are required to correctly operate the machine and carry out maintenance
and basic servicing.

This packing machine has been designed to fill jars with 50 to 1000 grams of honey in a highly accurate, productive manner.
Several set-ups of the body-only packing machine are possible: the unit can be fixed directly to the ripener, mounted on a special
trolley, on a fixed structure with a working surface and ripener, or on a rotating loader for automatic operation
The packing machine is operated by 6 bar compressed air supply from a minimum 100 litre compressor and is powered off a 220V
16A grounded single phase electric outlet.
The filling system works according to the volumetric principle: honey is sucked into a cylinder the pre-set volume of which determines
the weight of the honey packed into the jar via the nozzle.
When a jar is placed under the nozzle, it activates a sensor which automatically starts the filling cycle.
The cycle length can vary according to honey density; however, an average hourly output rate of 400 kg can be expected. 400.
All the parts in contact with honey are made of stainless steel or other non-toxic, food safe materials.

Connect the compressor to the machine air inlet (A). A filter unit with lubricator should be fitted to the connecting pipe before
connection to ensure the pneumatic parts' trouble-free operation.
Ensure that the clamp coupling at honey in-feed and all the screw-down parts are correctly installed.
Place a honey sump below the out-feed nozzle (3). Turn on the ball valve gate between the ripener and the packing machine to let
honey flow out to the packing machine.
Start the machine pressing a few times the feeler control lever (21), bearing in mind that the inner piston must complete its up and
down travels to obtain accurate filling to a pre-set weight.
After ensuring that there are no air bubbles in the honey output from the nozzle, move on to the next phase.
WEIGHING CYCLE ADJUSTMENT:
Release the top coupling (36) by working the sliding sleeve (19). Loosen the lock nut.
Press the pressurising control override lever (31).
Turn the handwheel (17) bearing in mind that by turning in, the filling weight will decrease, while by turning out the filling weight will
increase, and that each handwheel turn corresponds to an approximately 20 gram difference.
Release the pressurising control override lever (31), engage the top coupling (36).
After filling a few trial jars and finding the exact batch weight, tighten the lock nut.
If the piston thrust causes a too strong or too weak honey output, turn the adjuster knob (33-34), screwing it in or out according to
whether the piston speed must be decreased or increased.
The adjuster (33) will adjust the outlet, while the adjuster (34) will adjust the inlet.
