1. Switching on
1.1.
• Push the button. The green LED is on.
Important: speaking distance from microphone: 20 - 30 cm,
either directly in front or within a 45° arc.
• If nobody speaks, the system is interrupted automatically, but
transmission is reactivated instantly when someone speeks.
2. Volume
2.1.
• Push the button again - the red LED lights as well.
Increase
The volume is increased by 6 dB. Not for continuous use!
(6dB)
• Push the button once more: normal operating volume.
3. Switching off
• Press and hold the button for approx. 2 seconds.
The LED(s) go out. The system is now switched off.
Installations for 2 - 3 public positions.
4. Options
4.1.
Select the required position by pressing the button.
The respective LED is on.
4.2.
Additional speaker (booster)
To make announcements via the booster: Press and hold down the
button (speech button) on the microphone loudspeaker unit.
4.3.
Push-to-talk intercom
Press the button on the microphone/loudspeaker unit.
Speaking: Push the button
Listening: Release the button
4.4.
Digital Chime
To public side: Press the button integrated in the microphone/
loudspeaker unit.
To service side: Press the button (supplied by client)
Transmission for the hearing impaired
If this facility is built into the central unit it functions automatically.
The induction rod, mounted vertically (inside or outside) onto the win-
dow, creates a magnetical field of about 60 cm, allowing the hearing
impaired perfect comprehension without background noise when
switching their hearing aid to the „T" or „I"position.

• Si personne ne parle, la transmission est coupée automatiquement.
Dès que l´on parle, l´installation se met automatiquement en marche.
2. Augmentation

• Appuyer encore une fois sur la touche - la LED rouge s´allume égale-
du volume
ment. Le volume est doublé (6dB). A ne pas utiliser en permanence!

• Appuyer encore une fois sur la touche: fonctionnement normal.
3. Arrêt
• Appuyer sur la touche pendant 2 sec. Les LEDs s´éteignent. L´appareil
est à l´arrêt.

Sélectionner la position public en appuyant sur la touche.
La LED correspondante s´allume.
4.2.
HP supplémentaire (booster)
Messages d´annonce par booster: laisser enfoncée la touche supplémen-
taire (touche de conversation) integrée dans le pupitre.

Duplex basculé
Appuyer sur la touche supplémentaire intégrée dans le pupitre

Carillon digital
Vers côté public: appuyer sur la touche intégrée dans le pupitre.
Vers côté service: appuyer sur la touche fournie par le client
Transmission pour malentendants:
Fonction automatique quand l´unité centrale est équipée de cette option.
La réglette d´induction, fixée verticalement (à l´intérieur ou à l´extérieur)
de la vitre, crée un champ magnétique d´environ 60 cm, permettant ainsi
aux malentendants d´entendre parfaitement grâce à leur appareil auditif
positionné sur „T" ou „I", même en ambiance très bruyante.
