11 | Troubleshooting

In the event of an error, try to solve it with the following measures:
Fault
The dryer does not working.
LED display lights up (ON), but the unit
does not generate any ozone or warm air.
LED display lights up and fan works, but
the unit does not generate any ozone.
LED display lights up and fan works, but
the unit does not generate any air flow.
The unit does not dry properly
The unit does not dry properly
Water under the base of the unit
These instructions cannot cover all possible situations and operating conditions. If the Universal Dryer
does not work even after following the above instructions, please contact Louis Customer Service. You
should always exercise maximum caution when using this and other devices.

12 | Warranty

This product comes with the statutory two-year warranty. The warranty period begins on the date
of purchase. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, use for anything other than the
intended purpose, or damage caused by an accident, tampering or attempted repairs by unauthorised
persons or customer service departments.

13 | About ozone

Ozone – the most natural and most effective way of preventing odour. Ozone (O3) is an unstable form
of oxygen (O2) and is a naturally occurring gas. This makes it the most natural way of getting rid of
harmful bacteria and fungi and eliminating odour.
Ozone is created when ultraviolet radiation from the sun reacts with oxygen in the upper layers of the
atmosphere or by electrical discharges during thunderstorms. The dryer contains an ozone generator,
which creates ozone by means of powerful electrostatic discharge.
CAUTION!
Respiratory irritation!
Possible causes and remedies
There may be a problem with the power supply.
- Is the power plug properly plugged in?
- Have you switched on at the wall socket?
- Has a circuit-breaker tripped or a fuse blown?
Check that the fan is working. -
- If the fan is not working, unplug the unit immediately
and contact Louis Customer Service
Malfunction or defect of the ozone generator.
Send the dryer to Louis Customer Service for repair or
possible replacement.
The heater fuse is defective.
Send the dryer to Louis Customer Service for repair or
possible replacement.
Check the drying temperature setting.
- If it is too low, try a higher setting.
- Check whether the item you wish to dry is too wet.
- If possible, wring out excess water before drying.
- Check whether the air in the room is too cold.
If so, place the dryer in a warmer place or set a
longer drying time.
When drying very wet objects, water may collect
underneath the unit.
- Use a cloth or sponge to absorb the water
accumulation through the drain holes.
