NOTE:
• The correct way of assembly will be described in
detail in the following section. Prior to assembly,
ensure the power cord is unplugged from the
power outlet and the power switch (10) is in the
"O" position.
Assembly
• Start the assembly by placing the jar (6) onto the
motor unit (9) by following the instructions as follows:
1. Ensure that the buffer plate (15) is put into its
correct position inside the residue outlet (16).
Mount the jar (6) on the motor unit (9) and ensure
the markings on the jar align with the markings on
the motor unit so that the jar will be locked on the
motor unit tightly.
2. Place the strainer (4) into the rotary cleaning brush
(5). Insert the assembly of the strainer and rotary
cleaning brush into the jar (6) and ensure the mark-
ings on the strainer align with the markings on the
motor unit (9). Insert the grinding head (3) into the
strainer and ensure the grinding head is covered
well into the axis of the motor unit by pushing it
down until it is firmly in place.
3. Mount the hopper (2) on the jar (6) correctly by
ensuring the markings on the hopper next to the
unlocked symbol
match the markings on the
motor unit (9). Rotate the hopper clockwise until the
markings on the hopper next to the locked symbol
match the markings on the motor unit. Ensure the
hopper is assembled in position properly otherwise
the appliance will not operate. To disassemble the
hopper from the motor unit, rotate it anticlockwise
until the markings on the hopper next to the
unlocked symbol
match the markings on the
motor unit, and take the hopper off of the motor
unit. Insert the food pusher (1) into the opening on
top of the hopper.
4. Place the juice container (11) underneath the juice
outlet (7) and the residue container (13) underneath
the residue outlet (16). The slow juicer is now ready
for operation.
NOTE:
When you need to move the whole appliance,
ensure to hold the slow juicer by the motor unit
(9) instead of the hopper (2) to avoid potential
accidents.

Using the slow juicer
1. Before plugging the power cord into the power
socket, ensure the power switch (10) is in the "O"
position.
NOTE:
The power switch has three settings: "I" indicates
"ON", press the power switch to "I" position to
activate the motor and start making juice; "O"
indicates "OFF" position, press the power switch
to "O" position to turn off the slow juicer; "R"
means reverse rotation, which is only used when
something is stuck and need to be unclogged.
2. Ensure the juice container (11) and the residue con-
tainer (13) are placed in position.
3. Cut fruits and vegetables into small pieces. For
example, the carrots shall be cut into thin slices of
about 15 mm x 15 mm before being inserted into
the slow juicer.
NOTE:
• Please remove any hard seeds before inserting
the foodstuff into the slow juicer.
• It is not recommended to process coconuts or
similar hard foodstuffs, as this might damage
the motor.
• It is not recommended to process hard fruits
or vegetables rich in fiber and starch, such as
sugarcane.
• The peel and pits should be removed from all
citric fruits, e.g. oranges, lemons, grapefruits,
melons, etc.
4. Insert the prepared fruits or vegetables into the
hopper (2) and gently push the fruit down onto the
grinding head (3) by using the food pusher (1).
5. Connect the slow juicer to the power source, and
set the power switch (10) in the "I" position. The
slow juicer will start to work. After a few minutes, the
juice will flow out of the jar (6) into the juice out-
let (7). Open the juice outlet cover (8) by turning it
upwards in order to let the juice flow into the juice
container (11).
6. To ensure the best taste, consume the juice shortly
after completion of the juice session. Always store
left-over juice properly in the refrigerator.
