FUNCTIONING

amperometers (fig. 4-5) , which disconnect
the compressor when maximum limits are
reached and thus preventing the motor from
being damaged.
Once disconnected the user or a specialised
technicians are to detect the reasons
leading to the release of the protection
devices.
WARNING
O
The electric compressor is
provided with a safety valve set a
pressure superior to that of the
maximum pressure set in the air
pressure switch. It is released in case
the air pressure switch is damaged
and opens an air outlet for exceeding
air (fig. 11) .
O
The customer is not entitled to set
the compressor so that it exceeds the
maximum pressure indicated on the
tank.
O
While in operation and for a few
minutes after switching off the
compressor, do not touch the
connecting pipes, the head, the motor,
the valve and all the parts of the
compressor subject to heating, in
order not to get burned.
SUCTION FILTER
The suction filter is not correctly applied
when the compressor is supplied (fig. 7.1 ).
Before putting the compressor into
operation the filter is to be unscrewed,
turned by 180 and fixed again (fig. 7.1 ). Only
compressors with a K28 head are supplied
with the filter in correct position (fig. 7).
USE OF THE AIR
For a correct use of the air, please follow
these instructions:

regulators at the desired pressure
