Maintenance
Always unplug the power cable before
servicing or cleaning the machine.
In order to ensure trouble free operation,
we recommend carrying out the
following steps whenever the machine is
used:
Rinse the water hose, high-
N
pressure hose, spray lance and
accessories with water before fitting
them
Remove all sand and dust from the
N
plug-type coupling of the spray
lance and the coupling sleeve of the
spray gun
Cleaning the high-pressure nozzle
Since the pump pressure increases if
the nozzle is clogged, it must be cleaned
immediately.
Switch off machine
N
Actuate the spray gun until water
N
merely drips from the spray head –
the machine is now depressurized
Remove spray lance
N
Clean nozzle with a suitable needle
N
RE 661, RE 661 PLUS, RE 961 PLUS
Always remove the spray lance
before cleaning the nozzle.
Rinse spray lance with water from
N
the nozzle end
Cleaning the water intake screens
Two screens are fitted in the water inlet
to trap coarse dirt particles.
The water intake screens must be
cleaned once per month or more often if
necessary.

Disconnect hose (1)

Carefully release the screen (2) with
N
pliers and rinse it
Before refitting the screen, ensure
N
that it is undamaged and replace if
necessary
Screen at the inlet of the high-
pressure pump
Open shroud – see "Open shroud"

Unscrew union nut (1)

Carefully pry off the screen (2) with
N
a screwdriver and rinse it
Cleaning or replacing the fuel filter
Open shroud – see "Open shroud"

Unscrew the filter cover (1)
N
Pull out the fuel filter (2) and clean
N
or replace it - take note of the two O-
rings
The old fuel filter and the liquid used for
cleaning must be disposed of in
accordance with regulations and without
harming the environment!
Clean flame sensor
A display appears on the control panel
when the flame sensor is filled with soot
(see "When the LEDs on the control
panel... ")
