ATTACHING LEVELING FEET
1. Turn stand over on its side and attach four leveling feet
(K) Fig. 5 to the four tapped holes in the bottom of the
legs (B). Be sure leveling feet jam nuts (L) are loose.
2. Turn machine upright and rotate leveling feet until
machine is level.
3. Tighten jam nuts.
ATTACHING PLANER STAND TO FLOOR
If you desire, you can secure the stand to the floor. You can
use the four holes (M) Fig. 6 for this purpose.
ATTACHING HANDWHEEL
1. Attach handwheel handle (N) Fig. 7 to handwheel (O).
Use 12 mm open end wrench on flats to tighten.
2. Attach handwheel (O) to elevation shaft (P) Fig. 8 and
tighten handwheel set screw (Q) FIg. 9 with supplied
hex wrench. Be sure set screw engages groove (R)
Fig. 8 in elevation shaft.
NOTE: Be sure two head-locking knobs (one shown at
(S) Fig. 10) are loose before raising head assembly.
3. Raise head assembly and remove shipping brace.
