3. Instructions for use
1. Infants should be reclining or in their parent's arms; small children should be
sitting in a stable position while their nose is being aspirated.
2. Put the mouthpiece into your mouth and gently insert the thoroughly
cleaned nose tip into the child's nasal cavity.
3. Make sure that the connection point of the connecting tube and the
Colibri head points downwards.
4. Slightly move the nose tip around while intermittently performing suction
with your mouth through the connecting tube. Do not force or insert the
nose tip too far into the nostril.
5. Disassemble and clean the Colibri head according to the instructions in
the "Cleaning" section.
TIP: Move the nose tip around to make sure that you get all areas of the nostril.
TIP: Dry or very thick nasal mucus can be dissolved by a mild saline solution.
No more than a teaspoon of these liquids should be used at a time. Wait
a few minutes after using the solution, wipe excess discharge with a tissue,
and then use the nasal aspirator.
