Cleaning the floor nozzle (18):
• Occasionally clean the underside of the floor nozzle (18) with the hand-
held vacuum cleaner.
If very dirty, the brush roller can be removed from the floor
nozzle and cleaned separately.
NOTICE
To remove the brush roller (20), do the following.
•
With a suitable screwdriver, open the screw of the locking
flap on the underside of the floor nozzle (18) and remove
the locking flap upwards.
•
Push the toothed belt off the brush roller (20) gear wheel
and remove the brush roller (20) from the floor nozzle (18).
•
Thoroughly clean the dirt and other fouling from the brush
roller (20).
•
Then reinsert the brush roller (20) into the floor nozzle (18)
by first inserting the side facing away from the toothed
belt, then place the toothed belt back onto the gear
wheel. Finally insert the brush roller (20) properly.
•
Close the locking flap again and tighten the screw. Check that the brush
roller rotates freely.
Emptying the dust bowl (8):
We recommend cleaning the dust bowl (8) each time you vacuum,
otherwise the suction power will be reduced.
1) Pull the release lever (11) to the front and hold it.
2) Unlock the dust bowl (8) by turning it to the left.
3) Remove the dust bowl (8) from the basic unit (1).
4) Remove the fine dust filter (6) from the dust bowl (8).
5) Remove the coarse dust filter (7) from the dust bowl (8).
