Battery installation

1.
Push to open battery cover.
2.
Insert 2 pieces of "AAA" size batteries with correct polarity and close the battery cover.
3.
After installation, turn the device on to check the remaining battery voltage level.
4.
When the battery level is low , the system will display "BATTLO" automatically.
5.
When the battery level is low during recording or pause, the system will automatically display "BATTLO",
save current recording file and exit.
6.
When battery level is full, all bars indicating battery level are displayed; the bars indicating battery level
decrease along with the consumption of power during use.
7. In case that the battery level is less than 2 bars, it means that the built-in power amplifier consumes lots of
power so insufficient power supply will lead to stop playing and turning-off. Therefore, please decrease the
volume or use earphone during playing. Battery service life varies with battery type and playing volume.
Warning:
1.
Don't remove batteries while the device is working; don't disconnect the USB cable while the system
displays "PC LINK"; otherwise, the program is in disorder, the device cannot be turned on, or the program
will be lost!!!
2.
Battery precautions:
If the device is not going to be used for a long time, check the battery voltage level frequently to prevent
damage to the printed circuit board from possible battery leakage, or remove batteries from the device;
the time and date are required to be reset upon you use it next time.
In case rechargeable batteries are used, please read operating instructions for battery and charger before
installation.
Operating instructions
The device has three basic modes: stand-by mode, power-on mode and menu mode.
1. Stand-by mode
After installation of the battery, the system is powered on and in stand-by mode automatically.
1a) In stand-by mode, the system is in date setting first: press
"MENU" to confirm the date and enter time setting. The method for time setting is the same as for date
setting.
Note: In case that the batteries are removed for a long time; the time and date recorded in the system will
be reset automatically. After the unit is powered on, it is required to reset the time and date. In case that
