Stirring rods

The choice of stirring tool [1-1] depends on the
material to be stirred.
HS 3 DOUBLE 140x600 FF
For liquid and viscous materials.
The lower part of the stirrer bas
ket raises the material to be stir
red upwards and the upper part
of the stirrer basket pushes it
downwards.
HS 3 COMBI 140x600 FF (Acces
sories)
For heavy materials with high
viscosity.
Two stirrer rods, each with three
helixes, counter-rotate. The ma
terial to be stirred is mixed in a
comb-like manner. Move the de
vice up and down while stirring.
Clean the stirrer basket after
use.

Service and maintenance

WARNING
Risk of injury, electric shock
► Always pull the mains plug from the socket
before performing any servicing and main
tenance work.
► All maintenance and repair work which re
quires the motor housing to be opened
should always be carried out by an author
ised service workshop.
WARNING
Incorrect testing may damage the machine
and injure users
► Special information is required for testing
the electrical safety. This is available from

► Replace the grease filling in the gearbox
housing after approx. 200 working hours.
WARNING
Risk of injury, electric shock
► To maintain the protective insulation,
the machine must then be subjected to
a safety review. Therefore, this work
may only be carried out by a specialist
electrical workshop.
► To ensure constant air circulation, always
keep the cooling air openings in the housing
clean and free of blockages.
► The tool is equipped with special self-dis
connecting carbon brushes. If they wear
out, the power supply is disconnected auto
matically and the tool stops.
► We recommend that you clean the power
tool regularly. Remove any dust, residual
mixing material and any other dirt. If you
use solvent-based cleaning agents, these
may damage the painted surfaces or the
plastic parts. If you use these cleaning
agents, we recommend that you test the ef
fect of these agents on a small, concealed
area. The ventilation holes on the motor
hood must not be blocked.
► Commission an authorised workshop to
change brushes, the power cable, etc. If
the machine suffers an impact, it is also
necessary to use an authorised workshop in
order to prevent any mechanical or electri
cal hazards.
► The packaged power tool can be stored in a
dry place without heating as long as the in
side temperature does not fall below −5 °C.
The unpackaged power tool must only be
stored in a dry, enclosed space where the
temperature does not fall below +5 °C and
where no extreme temperature fluctuations
can occur.
