6 Once you have obtained the juice, turn the
switch (2) to the OFF position 0 and unplug.
+ To get maximum benefit from natural juices,
they are best consumed immediately after be-
ing liquidized so that none of their flavour or vi-
tamins is lost. However, if you want to keep the
juice for a few hours, one or two lemons can be
added when feeding the fruit into the liquidizer.
HInTs On UsIng
Wash all the fruit and vegetables that you are
going to use. If you consider it necessary, you
can cut them into pieces for easier insertion in
the inlet mouth.
Remove the stones from peaches, cherries,
apricots, plums, etc.
Remove the skin from oranges, lemons, kiwis,
mandarins, melons, beetroot, etc.
Remove the seeds from melons, cucumber,
watermelons, etc.
Remove the core of pineapples.
Spinach, chards, tomatoes, onions, peppers,
lettuces, strawberries, pears, apples, carrots
and parsley require no special preparation.
TSome fruit and vegetables cannot be liquidi-
sed, as they contain little juice: bananas, avo-
cados, blackberries, aubergines, etc.

Stop the appliance, selecting position 0 on the

Unplug the appliance from the mains.
Clean the appliance
CLEAnIng
Disconnect the appliance from the mains and
let it cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a
few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
Do not use solvents, or products with an acid
or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive pro-
ducts, for cleaning the appliance.
Do not submerge the appliance in water or any
other liquid, or place it under a running tap.
It is advisable to clean the appliance regularly
and remove any food remains.
If the appliance is not in good condition of clean-
liness, its surface may degrade and inexorably
affect the duration of the appliance's useful life

and could become unsafe to use.
The following pieces may be washed in a di-
shwasher (using a soft cleaning program):
Plunger
Protective lid.
Removable filter
Filter holder
Pulp collector
Juice jug
All the parts apart from the motor body can be
cleaned under the tap using detergent or was-
hing-up liquid.
The filter must not be cleaned using aluminum
scourers or other metal objects.
Remove the leftover detergent well from the
parts which may be in contact with the food.
Then dry all parts before its assembly and storage

Take the appliance to an authorized technical
support service if problems arise. Do not try to
dismantle or repair without assistance, as this
may be dangerous.
