WARNING:
• Always turn the device off before cleaning it and pull the power
plug (8). Wait until the appliance has cooled down.
• Never immerse the device or the base unit (7) in water or other
liquids.
CAUTION:
• Do not use a wire brush or abrasives for cleaning.
• Do not use acrid or abrasive cleaning agents.
• Rinse the water tank with clean water. Then dry it
with a cloth.
• Clean the housing after use with a slightly damp
cloth.

Descaling

• The intervals at which you should perform descaling
depend on the hardness of the water and the fre-
quency of use.
• Descaling is necessary if the appliance turns off be-
fore the water is boiling.
• Please do not use vinegar, but a commercially avai-
lable decalcification agent on the basis of citric acid.
Only use the quantities stated in the instructions.
NOTE:
After descaling the appliance, boil fresh water sever-
al times (approx. 3-4 times) to remove any residues.
Do not consume this water.
