Operation
A. Installation
1. Make sure your input AC voltage is compatible with the adapter speci cations.
2. Only use the power adapter which is provided with the VTRA3420GY. If you use your own adapter, make sure the power output is
DC 5 V, 1 A, centre positive.
3. With a direct line of sight, the maximum range of the A/V signal transmission can reach up to 300 feet. This distance, however, is limited
by obstacles or walls placed between the transmitter box and receiver box (the optimum indoor range is less than 100 metres).
4. To ensure a good infrared remote control operation, aim your remote control at the IR probe of the VTRA3420GY and press
the buttons rmly (with some remote controls it may be necessary to press and hold each button for approx. 1 second).
The working angle of the IR probe is +/- 15º.
5. The distance between the remote control and the receiver should be between 0.3 metres and 5 metres (working angle +/- 15º).
B. TX & RX pairing mode
Press the PAIRING key on the RX.
1. "Connection" is displayed onscreen.
2. Press the PAIRING key on the TX.
3. Wait for auto connection.
C. IR extending function
1. Connect the IR emitter probe to the TX.
2. Connect the IR receiver probe to the RX.
3. You can now operate the source device with a remote control.
Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the transmitter or the receiver.

TROUBLESHOOTING
1. If the screen remains blank:
• Make sure that the direct connection from the source device to the sink device works properly.
• Check if all connectors are properly connected; check if all cables support the transmission speed. High Speed HDMI™ Cables are
recommended.
• Disconnect the power cable to restart VTRA3420GY.
2. If there is no sound:
• Try to adjust the volume of your TV.
• Check the cable connection to see if it is properly connected.
• Check the cable to see if it only supports video transmission (DVI) or if it is damaged.
• HDCP may not pair successfully at the first attempt; please disconnect the power cable to restart the VTRA3420GY.
3. If there is no 3D e ect:
• Make sure the 3D function on the 3D TV (or DLP projector) is activated (set to AUTO or 3D ON).
• Make sure the 3D function on the 3D source device is activated (set to AUTO or 3D ON).
• Make sure the power of the shutter glasses is switched on.
• Check if the power cable of the VTRA3420GY is connected properly.
• If the 3D HDTV requires active shutter glasses for 3D viewing, make sure the pair of active shutter glasses you use are compatible with
the 3D TV.
• If the 3D HDTV requires passive shutter glasses for 3D viewing, make sure the pair of passive shutter glasses you use are compatible
with the 3D TV.
4. If the image is unstable, or a snowy noise pattern shows onscreen:
• Keep the VTRA3420GY away from any possible sources of interference, such as Wi-Fi routers, microwaves, air conditioners etc.
• The wireless transmission distance may be too far or blocked by a wall or other objects. Place the VTRA3420GY at a location which
allows for a clear signal reception.
• Change the direction of the TX and RX to enable a better reception.
5. If the wireless connection fails:
• Please make sure the power of the source device is switched on.
• Disconnect the power cable to restart the VTRA3420GY.
6. If the IR extending function is not working:
• Check if the IR emitter is connected to the VTRA3420GY transmitter and place the emitter probe in front of the IR receiver of the
source device.
• The IR extending function of VTRA3420GY works with 30 ~ 60 kHz IR remote control systems. If the IR remote control system works
with di erent frequencies or the IR signal pulse is too short the IR extending function is not compatible.
