Charging the batteries:

• Before using the drive, the batteries must be fully charged. To do
this, insert the charger plug into the dedicated charging socket (6) at
the bottom side of the drive.
• Before using the electric awning winder handle for the first time and
after several months of non-use, the batteries should be charged for
24 hours.
• Connect the power cable of the charger to the electric socket.
• When the red light flashes, the battery is charging.
• The average charging time is 6 hours. Once the batteries are
charged, the light lights up green.
• The Charger and batteries grow warm during charging process.
Make sure that the charger and batteries are not covered by, and
neer, any other object, and only do the charging in a well ventilated
location.
• Avoid charging batteries close to any hot locations such near heaters
or radiators.
• The charger is approved for indoor use only.
• Do not attempt to charge batteries in temperatures below 0°C or
over 40°C. The ideal ambient temperature is 18°-24°C.
• The batteries are charged once the light changes from red to green.
• Disconnect the charger from the wall outlet and remove the charging
cable from the drive. Never use the drive with attached cables! You
are now ready to use the drive.
• Only use the charger included with the driver and not any sold by
any other manufacturers.
• Disassembling of batteries should only be done by our
DREHMOFLEX
service.
