• The refrigerator should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat producing appliances,
and out of the direct sunlight.
• Overload the refrigerator forces the thermoelectric cooling system to run longer.
• Reduce door openings and extended searches, removes many item as needed at one time, and close the
door as soon as possible.
• One characteristic of thermoelectric units is the length of time it requires to recover from having the door
opened and shut frequently. It may be necessary to wait longer for the temperature to return to its former
level one the door has been opened for too long. This is normal for the type of unit.
• Thermoelectric technology cost just pennies to operate. It is environmentally friendly due to the lack of
CFC´s.
Disposal of old electrical appliances.
The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires
that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal
waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and
recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the
environment.
The crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose
of the appliance, it must be separately collected.
Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of
their old appliance.
