2. For Your Safety

To ensure that you'll have many years of pleasure from your coloured light, please read
these operating instructions carefully, particularly the safety instructions.
Keep them in a safe place and in the case of a change in ownership, please ensure they
are given to the new owner.
2.1

Normal Use

The coloured light is used only for illuminating the bath tub. Any other usage will be
deemed as not corresponding with normal usage. DURAVIT AG assumes no liability for
abnormal usage.

2.2 Safety Instructions

Please read and comply with the following safety instructions!
Always check that the product is not damaged before use.
Check the LED spotlights. If something is damaged (cracks, broken panel...), the
bath must not be used (not even for bathing).
Check the remote control. A remote control with mechanical or electrical fault
must not be used.
Risk of eye injury from light beam.
Do NOT look directly into the lighting elements.
Protect remote control from heat, limescale, UV radiation and sharp objects.
Do not expose the remote control to strong magnetic or electrical fields. Avoid
direct heating action like e.g. heater or sunlight.
Do not keep the remote control in water for a longer period as stubborn limescales
may form.
Do not expose to direct UV radiation (particularly sunbed).
Activate the buttons only with the finger tips - not with finger nails or sharp
objects.

The following warning signs warn you of dangerous situations and their severity:

The characters beneath the trash bin stand for:
Cd: Battery contains cadmium
Hg: Battery contains mercury
Pb: Battery contains lead

4. Product Information

5 integrated spotlights (10 in the Blue Moon series) flood the bath. Various colours,
white light and 5 coloured light programmes can be selected.

Colours

Yellow stimulating, liberating
Red stimulating, warming, vitalising
Violet soothing, regenerating, inspiring
Blue calming, soothing
Turquoise vitalising, invigorating
Green relieving, calming, stabilising

Colour programmes

1: Coloured flush
changing light from a six coloured hard colour progression:
white – blue – turquoise – green – yellow – red – violet – white - ...
The loop time can be varied between 5 and 22 seconds.
2: Rainbow
changing light from a six coloured soft colour progression:
white – blue – turquoise – green – yellow – red – violet – white - ...
The loop time can be varied between 5 and 22 seconds.
