When the battery is fully charged, the charger will automatically switch to maintenance mode and a
combination of a trickle current of <1.0A and a maintenance charge current of 1.5A will be applied if necessary
to keep the battery fully charged.
24V charge
-This mode is suitable for charging 24V batteries with a capacity range from 25-230Ah in
normal conditions.
Connect the output terminals of the charger to the battery with the correct polarity
(see connection
instructions). Connect the power cord to the AC power outlet to begin charging. Press the selection mode
button to select 24V charge. After executing this operation the corresponding LED
will light up.
If no problem is detected, the electronic system will automatically start the charging with a current of
12.5A±10%. During the charging cycle, the percentage charge LEDs (25%, 50%, 75% & 100%) will display the
charge level.
Charging will continue until the battery is fully charged up to 28.8V ± 0.58V.
When the battery is fully charged, automatically the charger will switch to maintenance mode and a
combination of a trickle current of <1.0A and a maintenance charge current of 1.5A will be applied if necessary
to keep the battery fully charged.
At temperatures below zero, the built-in temperature sensor will activate the "cold" mode and the charger will
supply a voltage charge of 29.4V/12.5A. In this phase LED
and LED
will light up simultaneously. During
the charging cycle, the percentage charge LEDs (25%, 50%, 75% & 100%) will display the charge level.
Charging will continue until the battery is fully charged up to 29.4V +/- 0.59V.
When the battery is fully charged, automatically the charger will switch to maintenance mode and a
combination of a trickle current of <1.0A and a maintenance charge current of 1.5A will be applied if necessary
to keep the battery fully charged.
To charge an AGM 24V battery To charge an AGM battery will require higher voltage charge even under
normal temperature conditions.
To charge an AGM battery, starting from standby mode, press the selection mode button twice: if no problem
is detected, the red LEDs
and , lighting up, will confirm the selected charge mode and the charger will
start the charging cycle with a current of 12.5A ± 10% at 29.4V. During the charging cycle, the percentage
charge LEDs (25%, 50%, 75% & 100%) will display the charge level. Charging will continue until the battery is
fully charged up to 29.4V ± 0.59V.
When the battery is fully charged, automatically the charger will switch to maintenance mode and a

to keep the battery fully charged.
CHARGE LEDs (25-50-75-100):
A group of four LEDs, labelled left to right 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%, gives information on the charge status
of the battery indicating the percentage of charge. The 25% and 50% 75% LEDs are red, the 100% LED,
indicating the battery is fully charged, is green. When the battery is fully charged, the charger will go
automatically into maintenance charge mode.
13.6V Supply (LED SUPPLY)
The LEM1224250 battery charger may also be used as a power supply, without connecting it to a battery. In
this mode the charger delivers a power supply of 13.6V DC and 5A. In this mode the spark free function is
inactivated, but the polarity reversal protection still works.
Connect the output terminals of the charger to the appliance to be fed, always paying attention to the correct
polarity. Connect the power cord to the AC power outlet, press the selection mode button continuously for 3
seconds to select
mode. If no problem is detected, the electronic system will automatically begin as a
power supply with output voltage of 13.6V and output current of 5.0A±10%. If output voltage drops to 12.0V or
below, the charger will cut off output power and switch to standby
mode.
16V Boost Function
This mode is used to recover severely discharged batteries at 12V with a capacity range from 50-450Ah.
Attention! High voltage may cause some electrolyte loss. To optimize the efficiency of this function, the battery
should be disconnected from the vehicle or other equipments to which it's normally connected.
Connect the output terminals of the charger to the battery with the correct polarity. Connect the power cord to
the AC power outlet and successively press the selection mode button to select
function. If no problem is
detected, the charger will begin to deliver a voltage of 16.5V with an output current of 1.5A ±10%. The attempt
to recovery a deep-discharged battery will be automatically terminated after 4 hours (max) if the battery will not
