APPLICATION
The 'Fun-to-Cook' sets with 4 and 6 pans are in fact
a mini table-top stove where all participants can
cook with their own pans to their heart's content, for
example baking, roasting, frying or stir-frying meat,
fish and/or vegetables, or even cooking eggs or
pancakes.
DESCRIPTION
This 'Fun-to-Cook' set has the following features:
•
Heating base for 4 or 6 pans
•
Removable pans with non-stick coating
•
Spatulas (4 or 6)
POSITIONING
•
The Fun-to-Cook set is suitable only for indoor
use.
•
Ensure that there is enough space around the
appliance so that its warmth can escape and
there is enough ventilation.
•
Put the Fun-to-Cook set on a stable and solid
table. Make sure that any tablecloth or mats
are adequately heat resistant. The underside
of the appliance radiates some heat down to
the tabletop.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
Do not move the appliance while it is on or
still hot. Use oven gloves if you have to touch
the appliance.
•
The grill plate and the pans get very hot when
in use. Do not touch the hot plate or the hot
pans. Be sure to only touch the pans' handles.
•
Do not move the appliance while it is on or still
hot. Unplug the appliance and wait for it to
cool down.
•
Use the pans only on this appliance. Do not
9
use the pans on another electrical appliance
or on a stove or grill plate.
•
Use this gourmette/raclette set only with the
grill plate in place. To avoid overheating, never
cook without these accessories! Of course, the
pans may be taken off for a moment to remove
or add the ingredients.
•
We recommend putting heat-resistant mats
around the Fun-to-Cook set to put the pans on
temporarily while removing or adding
ingredients.
FIRST USE
•
Clean the appliance. See "Cleaning and
maintenance".
•
Clean the accessories.
•
Turn on the appliance by putting the plug in
the socket. A small amount of smoke may
develop when using the appliance for the
first time. This smoke may smell unusual.
This is normal.
•
Allow the appliance to cool off completely.
USE
•
Prepare the ingredients by cutting them into
small pieces and seasoning/marinating them
to taste.
•
Give the pans a quick clean with a soft damp
cloth.
•
Turn on the appliance by putting the plug
in the socket. The power light will illuminate.
Remove the plug from the socket to turn the
appliance off.
•
Only for first use: put a little oil in the pans
with a soft brush or paper towel. Wait until the
oil has soaked in before removing the excess.
•
For further use there is no need to use any
more oil.
•
Wait until the oil has soaked in before
removing the excess. Small/thin pieces of food
grill better and faster than large/thick pieces.
•
Experiment with the temperature and the
cooking time for the best results.
•
Use the pans to prepare raclette recipes, to
stir fry, or, for example, to prepare eggs or
mini-pancakes.
•
Use the wooden spatulas for turning, stirring
and tossing the ingredients. To prevent
damage to the non-stick coating, do not use
metal utensils in the pans. Also, do not do any
cutting in the pans.
•
After use, switch off the appliance, unplug it
and wait for it to cool down.
