Intended use
The tool is used for fastening screws and bolts at an
adjusted torque. It is meant for private use only!
Instructions for torque wrenches
Take the torque wrench in one hand, so that the
•
torque-scale is visible.
Adjust the required torque-setting by turning the
•
knurled handle clockwise while grasping the
wrench-tube to read the exact torque-setting on the
graduation.
Example: 76 Nm.
Turn the knurled handle until the zero-
-
graduation on the bevelled edge of the handle is
lined up with the vertical mark on the tube.
At the same time, the front-edge of the knurled
-
handle must be even with the 70 Nm
graduation. (fig.1)
Turn the knurled handle clockwise, until the "6"
-
on the bevelled edge of the knurled handle is in
line with the vertical marking on the tube. (fig.2)
The wrench is now set at 76 Nm torque and
-
ready for use.
Install the proper socket or attachment to the 1/2"-
•
square-drive of the torque-wrench.
Apply the tool to the nut or bolt and drive the nut or
•
bolt by turning the wrench, until you feel and/or
hear the wrench click.

ATTENTION: Do not continue to drive the nut or bolt
after the wrench clicks. Use special care at low torque-
settings.
Besides the graduation "Nm" you will find a further
•
graduation for "kpm" on the tube of the torque
wrench.
When the torque wrench is not in use, keep torque-
•
adjustment at its lowest position by turning the
knurled handle anti-clockwise.
Always store the torque-wrench in its blow-case at
•
a dry place.
If the wrench has not been used and/or has been
•
in storage for some time, operate it several times at
a low torque setting, which permits the special
internal lubricant to re-coat internal working parts.
Clean the wrench only by using a clean and dry
•
cloth and do not dip the wrench into any cleaning
liquid.

The warranty for this tool starts at the date of purchase.
Please provide your purchase bill as proof.
This warranty includes:

provided that the failure does not result of wrong
handling.
