Battery Back-Up

This clock radio features an optional battery back-up to
retain the correct time setting in the event of a power
failure or when disconnected temporarily from an outlet.
Clock display will not be lit and the radio/alarm functions
will not operate while power is interrupted; however, time
and alarm settings will be maintained in memory. Once
power is restored, display will show correct time and radio
and alarm functions will operate normally.
To prevent leakage and possible damage to unit, batteries
should be replaced when they no longer retain the time
during a power failure (clock display will flash to indicate
that the time needs to be reset).
1. Remove battery cover on bottom of clock radio.
2. Place two fresh AA batteries (not included) inside the
battery compartment.
3. Replace battery cover and set time as described in
"Setting the Time."
