Indirect measurement

Use indirect measurement to calculate the height of an object or the distance between two remote points. Note that
all three measurement points should be in one line and one point at right
angle to the laser beam.
1. Press button (15) twice; a triangle symbol will appear on the display.
2. Take three successive measurements on measuring points in a single
line.
3. Refer to the following illustrations for measurement type:
Fault description
Any errors will be shown as numeric codes on the display. The following table describes the numeric codes and
possible remedy.
Code Error
204 Calculation error
208 Excess electrical current
220 Insufficient voltage
252 Temperature too high
253 Temperature too low
255 Weak signal, measurement time too
long
256 Received signal too strong
261 Out of the range of measurement
500 Hardware error

The warranty period for this device begins on the day of purchase. The purchase date must be proved by sending
us the original receipt.
We uphold the following during the warranty period:

Including free expert service (i.e. free assembly by our authorized personnel)

Repeat measurement
Contact the manufacturer
Change the batteries
Leave the unit to cool down to 0–40°C
Warm the unit up to 0–40°C
Use the reflector card included or ensure effective surface
reflection
Use target plate or do not aim at string light object
Select distance within the measuring range
Switch ON/OFF several times. If code still appears, contact
our service department.
