Preparing the charging station

Filling the vacuum pump with oil
 Note the description of the vacuum pump!
Please note! The vacuum pump (1) oil must be changed every 20 operating
hours.
To obtain correct measurements, the zeroing process may not be carried
out under pressure or in a vacuum. Please do this step before anything
else.
Please note:
Depressurise the DIGIMON (remove the hoses).
Open the manifold valves marked in blue (b) and red (c).
Zeroing the pressure sensors
Pressing the
zero to avoid incorrect measurements.

Evacuation
Connect the charging hoses in between the charging station and the refrigeration
system.
Blue valve (b) on blue charging hose
Red valve (c) on red charging hose
Switch on the vacuum pump, open the blue valve (b), red valve (c) and yellow valve
(a).
Open the valve (f) on the vacuum gauge (3).
When the ultimate system vacuum has been reached (approx. 500 microns), close
valve (f) and switch off the vacuum pump. Monitor the vacuum level on the DIGIMON
display DIGIMON 
Close all valves after every step.

Charging the system

Place the refrigerant cylinder on the scale (4) and connect the valve on the refrigerant
container onto the manifold connection (e) using the yellow charging hose.
Set the charging scale to 0 by pressing the Zero button.
SET
LIGHT
and
buttons sets the DIGIMON pressure displays to
VAC
button.
 Low pressure side (Suction)
 High pressure side (Discharge)
