The tool can only be used safely after the operating

It is recommended to receive practical instruction before
using the machine for the first time.
Before each use: Inspect unit, extension cord and plug for damage.

Other persons and animals should remain at a distance of 3 meters or more

Never grasp the blade rail of the trimmer.

When transporting or storing the Hedgetrimmer always fit the storage sheath.
Wear work gloves, eye protection, solid shoes and long pants when using
the machine.
Always grasp both handles when operating the machine. Always ensure that
you have a secure footing.
Always remove the plug from the power supply socket before carrying out
any work on the machine, when interrupting work and when not using the
machine.
Use only moisture-protected extension cords approved for outdoor use.
Secure extension cord by hanging it in tension relief bracket 5.
Always route extension cord out toward the rear.
Do not use the extension cord to carry the unit.
The power tool should not be operated by persons under 16 years of age.
Portable units being used outdoors must be connected via fault-current
protection switches.
Use only original parts and accessories.
