Special settings

2-stage application

Configuration mode :

The regulator must be powered down.
• Switch regulator on.
• Within the next 30 seconds, press
simultaneously on the o and q keys
for 5 seconds.
The display should then show the first
parameter (inPt) in the configuration
menu's list.
• If this does not occur, turn the
regulator off and then switch it on
again, and perform a test.
Modifying the configuration menu's
parameters :
• Use key q to shift from one
parameter to the next.
• When you reach the desired
parameter, use the o or p keys to
increase or decrease the value of the
parameter selected.
• Press n to save the value selected.
To quit configuration mode :
• Simultaneously press the o and q
keys to quit the settings menu and
return to the initial display.
The regulator will go through the start-
up procedure once again (it will switch
off and then restart) before returning to
the initial display.

Hardware definition mode :
You can only access this from
configuration mode.
• Press the p and q keys.
The display will show the first
parameter (dEFn).
• Use the p and o keys to set the
values for these parameters.
• Press q to save the value selected.
To quit hardware definition mode :
• Simultaneously press the o and q
keys.
The regulator will go through the start-
up procedure once again (it will switch
off and then restart) before returning to
the initial display.

Auto-adapting mode

Activation
The regulator is set at the initial display.
• Press the o and p keys
simultaneously for 3 seconds.
The display will start flashing and the
AT indicator will flash once.
• Release the o and p keys.
• Immediately press the n key and
keep it pressed down for 3 seconds.
The AT indicator will stay lit up to indicate
that the auto-adapting mode is active.
Deactivation
• Press the o and p keys
simultaneously for 3 seconds.
The AT indicator will flash once.
• Release the o and p keys.

• Immediately press the n key and keep
it pressed down for 3 seconds.
The AT indicator will go out, indicating
that the auto-adapting mode is no
longer active.
Remark
Before activating the auto-adapting
mode, make sure that the temperature
measured at the start of the water
circuit is equal or less than half of the
set value, so that the auto-adapting
mode calculations will be valid and
significant.
3-wire probe
• Remove the bridge between
terminals 4 and 5.
• Connect the probe to terminals 5 and 6.
• Connect the compensation wire to
terminal 4.

To obtain functioning with a restart
below the set value, modify the
parameters according to the table
below.

In this case, the start-up (hA2)

2-stage application
For operation with a 2-stage burner, the
tr and ton parameters have to be set
according to the table below.
