5. INSTALLATION ET UTILISATION

5.1 Safety instructions

ELECTRICAL HAZARD
Danger from electric current !
• The power cord must not come into contact with heat sources.
• The cord must not hang from the edge of a table or counter.
• Do not pour water into a running or hot appliance.
• The appliance must be connected properly and in accordance with current regulations.
WARNING
During operation, the unit can reach high temperatures.
To avoid burns and accidents, do not use the unit in malfunction, and do not use non-original spare parts.

If improperly installed, the unit can be dangerous and cause injury. Before installation, check the power supply
data. Connect the unit only when it is in conformity. The unit must be unpacked and checked completely
before connection by a professional.

5.2 Use

WARNING
Installation of the unit and maintenance should only be carried out by professionals.
• Do not leave the unit running unattended
• During use, your hands must be dry
• Switch on only when the knife is submerged
• Turn the unit off before removing it from the liquid
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
INITIAL OPERATION
The unit must be completely removed from its packaging. All protective covers must be completely
removed.Place the appliance on a solid, flat surface Never place the mixer on a solid, flat surface flammable.
Do not install this appliance near open fires or other heaters.
The electrical cable must be protected at least 16 Amps. The unit must be connected directly to a wall outlet.
USE
Plug the unit in. Hold the blender with one hand, putting one finger on the trigger (withoutpressing).
Dip the blender into the food and then pull the trigger, the blender is on.
To stop the blender, release the trigger.
For best results, we recommend holding the unit at an angle without placing the protective cover on the
bottom of the container as shown in the sketches below (2/3 of the way down the dive tube).
NOTE
The unit is equipped with an overheating safety system. In the event of a trip, unplug the unit and allow it to
cool down. If this safety system comes on regularly, please contact your dealer.
After the automatic switch-off, the unit can only be switched on by pressing the Reset button on the back of
the unit. To do this, wait until the temperature drops, then press the Reset button.
