Safety notes

The bus coupler is to be used exclusively in bus systems according to AS-i
specifications.
W
This is a class A product. In a living environment this product can cause
radio interference, in which case it may be necessary for the user to take
appropriate measures.

Installation should only be done by trained specialists.
W
Only operate the bus coupler in a completely assembled state. Always
turn off the power when plugging and unplugging the plug connectors.
W
The power supply must be installed in such a way that no surge voltages
can occur on the output side.
W
The bus coupler has an integrated watchdog function, which resets the
outputs in the event of a bus communication failure.

Addressing the bus coupler
Connect the bus connection (9) to an addressing device using the addressing
cable (see accessories).
Assign an address within a range of 1 to 31 and document it on the
label (6), (12).
The bus coupler address set at the factory is: 0

Connecting the bus cable
Connect the yellow profile cable (11) to the plug (9) via the cable socket (10).

Connecting the sensors
Up to 4 sensor inputs can be connected to the bus coupler using the dual plug
(see accessories).

If LED "I0" to "I3" (7, yellow) is on: the input is high. Inputs I0 to I3 can be read
out with data bits D0 to D3.

Triggering the valves
The valves are triggered by the bus coupler's (3) 4 outputs according to the
following allocation scheme.
