10 TREE TRAIN
INSTALL STABILIZERS AND CLOSE CLAMP
Slide stabilizers into the slots located at the bottom of the opened tree clamp
(Figure 2c). Close the clamp around the tree trunk and secure together with the
4 screws. Tighten each screw a little at a time while alternating sides until clamp
is centered and snug around trunk.
TIGHTEN TREE CLAMP USING GRIPPERS AND STABILIZERS
To eliminate any play between the tree trunk and the tree clamp, tighten the grip-
pers and stabilizers a little at a time until snug (Figure 2d).
IMPORTANT: Be sure the attached tree clamp is COMPLETELY TIGHTE-
NED (does not wiggle), LEVEL AND CENTERED on the trunk before pro-
ceeding. This will help ensure that your railways are set up correctly and
allow moving train to operate with optimal efficiency.
3. Connect Support Struts
Line up a support strut as indicated (Figure 3a) and slide into a grooved channel
on the tree clamp. Use firm and steady pressure as you push the end of the sup-
port strut down into the groove until it locks into position (Figure 3b). Repeat until
8 support struts are connected to the tree clamp.
