12V Roadside Impact Wrench
•
Insert the 12V power plug into the vehicle's power socket.
•
Attach an appropriately sized socket to the 1/2" square drive anvil.
•
Place the socket onto the lug nut and press the side of the switch with "L"
mark to start loosening the lug nuts.
•
The motor starts and after a short warm-up time, the impact wrench gives a
pulse to the socket.
•
Repeat for remaining lug nuts until they are loose.
Tighten Lug Nuts
•
Put the wheel into position and hand-tighten the lug nuts prior to tightening
with the wrench. This helps avoid cross threading the lug nut.
•
Press the side of the switch with "T" mark to start tightening the lug nuts.
•
The lug nut will be tight enough when 4-5 clicks are heard. DO NOT over
tighten.
•
Tighten the nuts in a star pattern.
•
IMPORTANT: After tightening with the wrench, it is important to check the
specified torque by using a torque wrench. Consult your vehicle's manual
for recommended torque specifications.
