In the following we would like to give you a few useful tips on positioning, connecting up and

operating your AURUM speakers with their compression chamber/bass reflex cabinets to

The positioning of speakers in a room exerts a significant influence on the resulting sound.

For example, placing them close to room walls invariably results in a loud but uncontoured
10
bass response. However, it is not only to obtain a defined bass reproduction but also in the
11
interests of obtaining a precisely detailed response in the treble range that we recommend
positioning quadral units featuring compression chamber technology so their rear panels are
12
between 30 and 50 cm from the wall with a clearance of more than 50 cm at left and right
12
to the next side-walls.

For the purpose of boosting the bass sound it is generally better to invest in an additional
active subwoofer rather than setting up the loudspeakers in corners. You can get more

brilliance in the high treble range by positioning the tweeters at approximately ear level, to
