2. Unpacking
The product box includes the following items. Inspect all components for shipping damage and contact your Bose Representative if any
issues are found.

3. Expansion Card Installation
Detailed installation instructions for option cards can be found in each card box and also can be downloaded from
pro.Bose.com. To prevent damage to the ESP-00 II processor and cards, an electrostatic discharge (ESD) safe work area is
recommended during the installation of option cards.
4. Rack-Mounting
The ESP-00 II processor is designed to fit standard 19-inch (48 cm) rack equipment, occupying 2 rack-units (RU) in height, and requiring
a mounting depth of 13.1 inches (334 mm) from the front rack rail. Use four fasteners with washers (not supplied) to mount the unit.
The product uses side-ventilation with air intake occurring on the right side and exhaust on the left side where a single fan is located.

5. Analog Audio Connections using Option Cards
Using Euroblock connectors supplied with analog audio cards, microphone or line level connections can be made to
balanced/unbalanced devices.
