9 – TROUBLESHOOTING / SOLUTIONS
Incidents
a- The device does not heat.
b- The plant does not fade.
For any other anomaly, please call our after-sales service. For safety purposes, only Berthoud's after-sales service is authorized
to disassemble the electrical weeder.
10 - WARRANTY
This product has a 1-year warranty against any material or manufacturing defect, from the date of purchase of the device by the
user, upon presentation of the purchase invoice or cashier receipt only. This warranty consists in repairing the faulty device.
Our warranty excludes:
- unauthorized disassembly of the device,
- wear parts,
- modified equipment,
- equipment used against the recommendations described in these instructions,
- equipment abused,
- degradations due to careless use: shock, drop...
Our warranty does not cover accidents resulting from the damage or faulty and abnormal use of the equipment.
The legal warranty for conformity defects and redhibitory vice applies according to the conditions of articles 1641 to 1649 of the
French Civil Code.
Causes
1- No power supply.
2- The switch (4) is not in the heating
position.
1- The device is not set properly on the
ground.
2- The application time is not long enough.

Solutions
1- Check that the plug is properly inserted into
the socket.
2- Set the switch (4) to the 'heating' position.
1- Apply the nozzle properly to the weed while
letting rest on the ground.
2- The application time of the nozzle on the
weed must be 3 seconds.
