Faults
Before complaining about damage to the thermostat, check this table to see if you can
remedy the fault yourself.

Heat source fails to heat
Heat source heats

Faults
Remedy
Increase the specified temper-
ature
Ensure that the sensor is not
placed too close to the heat
source and is not exposed to
direct sunlight.
Ensure that the sensor is posi-
tioned so that it correctly
measures the temperature of
the medium.
Replace sensor cable.
Replace the thermostat.
Reduce the specified temper-
ature.
Replace sensor cable.
Ensure that the sensor is posi-
tion in the medium.
Check the building's power
supply.
Replace the thermostat.
