2. Product description

The product has the following front connections/button:
- Audio in (white/red)
- Composite in
- S-video in
- Power on/off button
On top of the product, you will fi nd:
- Source button
- Frequency button/arrow down
- Info button/arrow up
- Control button (book icon)
At the back of the product, you will fi nd:
- DC 9v input
- VGA input
- Monitor connector
- Line in
- SPK out (to external speakers)

3. Installation procedure

1. Turn off power of the converter.
2. Connect 15 pin cable between your PC VGA card and VGA input.
3. Connect 3.mm audio cable between sound card speaker out and Line in of the
converter.
4. Connect the monitor to the Monitor port of the converter.
5. Connect your speakers to the SPK out connector of the converter.
6. Connect the video source to either composite in or S-video in.
7. Audio of an external source can be connected to Audio in.
8. Plug in the DC9V power adapter to the connector on the back of the converter
box.
9. Turn on the external source (e.g. DVD player), speakers, the monitor and the PC.
10. Push the power button on the front (when pushed in, the converter will work in
video mode, when pulled out, it works in PC mode).
11. Push source button to select between composite and S-video.
