Trouble shooting

Problem
Motor will not run.
The motor stops directly
after starting.
Fan runs but no suction.
Fan runs but poor suction.
Abnormal sound from the
fan.

Fault
Electrical supply is not
connected.
Thermal overload tipped.
Electrical power does not
reach the machine.
Electrical disconnect
locked out.
Incorrect fuse.
The thermal overloads
incorrectly set.
Suction hose not connec-
ted.
Plugged tubing or hoses.
The plastic sack or contai-
ner not fi rmly attached to
the bottom of the cyclone.
Pump rotation backwards.
Leakage in the ductwork.
Filter plugged.

Solution
Connect.
Wait 5 minutes and reset.
A qualifi ed electrican should
check supply.
Find the person responsible
for the lock out and check to
see if system is clear for opera-
tion, reverse the lock out.
Change to correct fuse rating
and type.
Electrician should be called for
investigate.
Connect the hose.
Clean.
Secure.
Electrician should change
phases.
Locate and repair.
Clean or change fi lter.
Order service.
