MACHINE HANDLING
All the air-conditioners are shipped (unless specifically requested by the customer) packed on pallets, and should therefore
be moved only with the aid of a forklift or a transpallet.
If, because of a specific reason, it is necessary to lift with a crane, then the air-conditioner should be strapped and lifted as
indicated in fig. 1.
The unit must NEVER be placed on its side or in an inclined position as this may not only damage internal components,
but can also be dangerous because the unit is not entirely fixed to the pallet, and so is free to move and cause harm to
persons (see fig. 2b-2c). Fig. 2a shows how the unit must ALWAYS be kept.
