Calibrating the device
Under normal conditions, the digital protractor should not need to be recalibrated.
But a hard blow or other hard external force may necessitate a recalibration. To do
so, you will need a horizontal surface with a tolerance of ≤ 0.02°.
Make sure that you do not tilt the digital protractor when pressing the buttons.
1 Place the device upright on a
horizontal surface with a tolerance of
0.02°.
3 Rotate the device clockwise by 90°
and press ZERO. CAd2 is shown in the
display. Release the button and hold
the device still until the 2 flashes in the
display.
5 Rotate the device clockwise by a
further 90° and press ZERO. CAd4 is
shown in the display. Release the
button and hold the device still until the
4 flashes in the display.
The device is now ready for use once again.
Maintenance and storage
Do not use aggressive chemicals, solvents or abrasives to clean the device. Do not
immerse the device in any type of liquids and do not allow liquids to penetrate into
the housing.
Store the device in the box supplied in a place protected from direct sunlight, dust,
moisture, extreme temperatures and vibrations. Keep the device out of the reach of
children.
2 Press and hold the ZERO button (X)
for 5 seconds. Cad1 is shown in the
display. Release the button and hold
the device still until the 1 flashes in the
display.
4 Rotate the device clockwise by a
further 90° and press ZERO. CAd3 is
shown in the display. Release the
button and hold the device still until the
3 flashes in the display.
6 Rotate the device clockwise by a
further 90° and press ZERO. CAd5 is
shown in the display. After 3 seconds,
0.00 is displayed. Calibration is
complete.
