8.3 PROGRESSIVE CUT
When this function is on, pressing with a certain sensitivity and slowness the trigger, the blade moves in
a progressive and slow way. At each position of the trigger corresponds one position of the blade. The
function is useful per cutting of absolute precision. As this function is not useful in all situation, it can be
removed from the menu. (see the relative paragraph).
8.4 REPEATING CUT
It may happen that during the cut, it doesn't close completely (wood too strong, blades not sharped), the
machine try to complete the cut 3 times in repetition. Only after 3 trials the blade opens again. This
procedure happens if you push and you hold down the trigger up to the end of the cycle cut. For safety
reasons, releasing the trigger in any position, the blade opens immediately.
8.5 QUICK TURNING OFF (STAND BY)
This function is very useful when you have to make short displacement while working and the Pruner
must be placed into the scabbard in a safety condition. Without acting on the switch I-II
The Power Unit, it's possible to put the pruner in stand-by pressing the trigger only: you must pushing
and holding down the trigger for around 3 seconds up to the double sound signal.
Releasing the trigger the pruner get blocked. The display shows (D4) with its suitable symbol "*" on the
right. If you repeat the operation the machine is reactivated and immediately ready (without the
necessity to reset the blades).
8.6 COMPLETE TURNING OFF (WITH CLOSED BLADES)
When you wish to put the machine again, it must be always completely switched off.
To push the trigger 1 up the the complete closure of the blade, keeping it in this position.
To pus the switch 8 of the power unit on position II. The displays switches off. To mount the plastic
protective cap N on the blades. To disconnect the cable F from both side and put the machine away in a
fresh and dry place. If you foresee not to use the machine for a long time, you have to charge the
battery before to put it away.
8.7 TURNING OFF FOR SHARPENING BLADES (AT OPEN BLADES)
When you wish to sharpen the blades, the machine must be completely switched off for safety reasons.
The turning off at open blades mustn't be common and it must be temporary.
To push the switch of the power unit on position II and holding down for around 5 seconds without
pressing the trigger. The display switches off. The blade stays open. To disconnect the cable from both
sides. To sharpe the blade. The machine can be turned on with ordinary procedure. Do not leave the
machine unguardened with open blades.
8.8 SELF-TURNING OFF
If you do not use the machine for around 10 minutes, in order to preserve the charge of the battery, the
machine switches off in autonomy. If the blades are open they remain in this position. In fact it's not
possible to close them automatically without the permission of the user. The machine can be switched on
again with the ordinary procedure of ignition. Do not leave the machine unguardened with open blades.

9.1 INTRODUCTION TO THE MENU
The machine is equipped with electronic control unit (power unit D). In addition to the control of the
cutting condition, the electronic unit allows to reach many of useful function which can be used entering
the multifunction menu. The components to use with this aim are:
Graphic display 13, the button function 11 ("F"), the trigger 1
