Connect the plug-type power adapter to the DC power cord.

Insert the plug-type power adapter with plug into the wall outlet and

connect the other end of the power cord to your USB hub.
Take the USB connector from the bottom of the hub and connect it to

one end of the supplied USB extension cable.
Finally plug the free end of the USB extension cable into a free USB port

on your computer. Your computer will detect the device automatically
(Windows 2000 SP4 or higher) and it will be ready for use.
