•
Unscrew the two screws located at the top and bottom of the enclosure, at the rear.
•
Remove the back cover.
•
Slide the mounting plate out of the casing.
•
Connect the IDE connector and power supply of the HDD to the mounting plate. Do not
force the connectors.
•
Screw the HDD on the mounting plate with four screws.
•
Gently slide the mounting plate with the HDD back into the enclosure.
•
Install the back cover and secure it with the two screws located at the top and bottom of
the enclosure, at the rear.
•
Do not attach external HDD to PC before necessary drivers have been installed.

• Before using the external device, install the necessary drivers on the PC.
• Face the back of the device.
• Connect the plug from the power adaptor to the DC PWR. connector (3). Make sure the switch
(4) is in the OFF position.
• Connect the power adaptor to the mains.
• Connect the type B USB connector of the USB cable to the USB port (1), and the type A
connector at the other side of the USB cable to the working PC.
